Edge Aquatics was established by Di Lake, who has been teaching ‘learn to swim’ programs since the late 1990’s. Passionate about teaching and inspired by the successes achieved by her students in the pool, Di realised her dream.
In 2006, the Edge Aquatics indoor swimming complex was opened, offering dedicated swim lessons and water and fun and fitness activities to people of all ages and abilities. Designed to Di’s specifications, the Edge Aquatic complex combines modern facilities with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for swimmers and guests alike.
At EDGE Aquatics we believe that aquatic education can potentially save your child’s life. Our qualified and experienced swimming instructors pride themselves on offering a variety of enjoyable swimming skills in small class sizes to ensure everyone receives personalised attention and ongoing assessment.
We cater for mums or dads and babies, children of all ages, people with a disability and offer concession discount to seniors. Within the EDGE complex there’s a heated and air-conditioned viewing area for parents and carers, which enables you to watch lessons and swimmer’s progression in a comfortable and relaxing environment.
To ensure water quality remains at its very best, we have a large water saving shower on our pool deck. We ask that you use this to rinse over before entering the pool and encourage you to use it after your lesson, to come out feeling fresh and invigorated.
The Edge Aquatics complex has equipment and facilities for people with a disability. There is a ramp entry to the complex, a change room specifically designed to assist people with a disability or in wheelchairs and flick mix taps.
